Faceted Shield-shaped lapis lazuli gemstones are wire wrapped on 14K goldfilled hand-hammered surf frames. They were cut especially for my shop and have beautiful flecks of gold. I've hammered and textured wire to form these unusual hoops. The facets catch the light beautifully, reflecting off the the tiny gold pyrite specks on them.
I've used 14K goldfilled ear wires.
Gemstones measure 18mm (3/4 inch long) and total drop is around 2.5 inches
